OCR PÅ BJERGET - Run for Fun 2027

Returning to Sprækkebjerg Friluftscenter on April 10, 2027, OCR På Bjerget offers an exhilarating blend of challenge and camaraderie. This event has been sold out for the past four years, promising a day filled with laughter and memorable experiences.
Participants will navigate through 5 kilometers of undulating terrain, encountering over 40 obstacles that include water crossings, steep hills, and technical challenges requiring precision. The course is clearly marked throughout, ensuring runners can proceed at their own pace while enjoying the support and encouragement from fellow participants along the way.
The event caters to both individual competitors looking for a personal challenge as well as those who prefer a more collaborative experience. Runners have the option of choosing between the Open class, where jumping over obstacles is allowed without penalty, or the Elite category that demands completion of all challenges.
Safety and enjoyment are paramount at OCR På Bjerget, with instructors stationed along the route to guide participants through each obstacle safely. The day's activities begin early, with check-in starting at 8:15 AM, allowing ample time for runners to collect their timing chips and warm up before the start of the race.
Participants are encouraged to wear tight-fitting training gear that can handle getting wet and dirty throughout the course. Gloves may also provide an advantage when dealing with certain obstacles. While there is no shower facility available on-site, participants will have access to a water hose for cleaning off post-race.
For those aged 13-15, participation must be accompanied by an adult competitor, while runners between 16 and 18 can compete independently under the event's guidelines.
