This thrilling 5K race transforms FortWhyte's normally tranquil trails into a spooky playground after nightfall, offering runners a unique blend of frights and festivities. As you navigate through the shadows, be prepared for unexpected encounters that will send shivers down your spine. The course is designed to challenge even the bravest souls with its winding paths and sudden scares. But fear not—the finish line awaits with warm snacks, candy treats, and a refreshing post-race beer to celebrate surviving the night. Costumes are optional but highly encouraged; whether you dress as a ghost, ghoul, or something far more terrifying, let your creativity shine through. Every registered runner receives exclusive swag including a limited-edition sweatshirt, custom race bib, finishers' medal, and post-race goodies. Plus, a complimentary beer or beverage awaits to toast the end of an unforgettable night. Package pick-up is available at Big Sky Run Co., located at 194 Tache Ave, on Tuesday, October 27th from 4-7pm and Wednesday, October 28th from 4-7pm. Due to capacity limits, only registered participants are admitted for the event night, and all runners must be 18 years or older. Please note that pets cannot accompany you on this spooky adventure due to safety concerns with multiple runners on the trails.
