Running Lights Alingsås 2027

About the Event

Welcome to the enchanting world of Running Lights, where Alingsås transforms into a vibrant spectacle under the glow of twinkling lights on October 9, 2027. This beloved annual event invites runners and their families to enjoy an evening filled with fun and camaraderie as they navigate through beautifully illuminated streets.
Choose from various distances tailored for all levels: whether you're up for a family-friendly stroll or aiming for a more challenging run, there's something here that suits everyone’s pace. The atmosphere is electric, with participants of all ages coming together to celebrate the joy of running in an idyllic setting.
In collaboration with Börjessons Bil and Strava, Running Lights offers exciting prizes through a draw among registered runners on Strava. This year, the event also features engaging activities like Knatteloppet (free for participants) sponsored by ICA Maxi Alingsås, and Energiloppet, another free addition supported by Alingsås Energi.
Running Lights is part of the Västsvenska Långloppscupen series. For younger runners aged F19/P19 or under as well as those 65 years old and above, a distance of 5km counts towards their cup standings; for others, it's a competitive 10km race.
Registration is now open on RaceID, where you can find all the necessary information about distances, categories, and event details. The results will be available post-race at https://my.raceresult.com.
Don't miss out on this magical night in Alingsås – a perfect blend of sport and community spirit under the stars.
Join us for an unforgettable evening where every step is illuminated with joy and warmth.
