Hökensås MTB-Giro

Join the 5th edition of Hökensås MTB-Giro on September 18, 2027, and experience one of Sweden's most picturesque cycling routes. The race winds through the serene landscape of Hökensås, known for its tall pine forests and rolling hills that provide a relatively easy yet scenic course loop starting from First Camp Hökensås.
Participants can choose between three distances: 57 km (3 varv), 38 km (2 varv), or 19 km (1 varv). The event features timed racing but maintains a relaxed atmosphere with minimal competition, emphasizing enjoyment and camaraderie among cyclists.
Registration fees vary depending on the distance and timing of your entry: early bird rates are available until January 31st, followed by still-early and normal rates up to September 15th. Late registrations can be made at the event from 8 AM onwards.
In addition to cycling, runners have an opportunity to explore Hökensås Trail on Sunday, September 19th, in the same enchanting environment as the MTB race.
The day includes a dry run and refreshments along the route, with participants receiving a commemorative medal upon completion. Post-race amenities include coffee at First Camp Hökensås after crossing the finish line east of the main road outside the campsite.
Remember to collect your number tags from 8 AM onwards at Gästhus on September 18th and start cycling promptly at 10:00 AM, guided by blue beach flags marked "START." The event concludes with a friendly atmosphere that celebrates both cyclists' achievements.
