Tidaholm Marathon - SM Halvmarathon 2027

Welcome to the fourth edition of Tidaholm Marathon, taking place on October 2, 2027. This scenic race is organized by Västsvenska Friidrottsförbundet and forms part of both the West Swedish Running Cup and the DM competition for the region.
The marathon course winds through central Tidaholm, featuring a loop approximately 7 kilometers long that runners complete six times to reach the full distance. This intimate setting offers participants an up-close view of the town's charming architecture and green spaces as they circle back repeatedly around familiar landmarks.
Competitors can choose from various distances including the marathon (42 km), half-marathon (21 km), or a team relay option with three-person teams each running one loop. The event also includes non-competitive categories for those looking to enjoy the run at their own pace while still experiencing the race atmosphere.
Race day amenities include hydration stations along the route, and post-race refreshments featuring hamburgers and sports drinks from Umara (U Sport - Citron). All finishers receive a medal as well as personalized bibs with first names for those who register by September 29. For late registrants on race day, payments can be made via card or Swish at the start line.
