RMB Run 4 Rivers

Embark on an unforgettable journey through the scenic slopes of Simonsberg at Plaisir Wine Estate for RMB Run4Rivers on April 18, 2027. Participants can choose from three captivating routes: a challenging 22km Waboom Challenge, a picturesque 11km Pincushion Challenge, and a family-friendly 5km Disa Fun Run. Each route is designed to highlight the unique beauty of Cape fynbos while supporting efforts to protect local rivers.
The race day begins with early registration at Plaisir Wine Estate from 6:00am, allowing ample time for roadwork detours in the area. The Waboom Challenge kicks off at 7:00 am, offering runners a serious test through varied terrain and elevation changes that showcase the estate's stunning trails. For those seeking a balance of challenge and beauty, the Pincushion Challenge starts promptly at 7:30am with its serene vistas and rolling hills.
The Disa Fun Run welcomes families and beginners to enjoy an easy-going 5km course starting at 7:45 am. Each route features water points strategically placed along the way for hydration during your run.
Race day concludes on the lawns of Plaisir Wine Estate, where participants can celebrate their achievements with fellow runners and enjoy a lucky draw filled with prizes ranging from wine to accommodation. Prize giving begins at 11:00 am, rewarding top male and female finishers in each distance category; however, winners must be present to claim their awards.
