Ultra Trail Sleeping Beauty (UTSB) 2027

Ultra Trail Sleeping Beauty (UTSB) returns to the trail running calendar on April 3, 2027, offering an unforgettable adventure through the scenic landscapes of Riverdale. Situated at Windhoek Guest Farm near the iconic Sleeping Beauty mountain, this event caters to runners of all fitness levels with distances ranging from family-friendly options to challenging trails for seasoned athletes.
The 10km and 20km routes provide a gentle introduction to trail running, meandering through enchanting plantations alongside Korentepoort dam. These courses offer stunning natural beauty without the steep elevation gain, making them perfect for beginners or those looking for a relaxed run in nature.
For more experienced runners, the 40km and 62km routes venture deep into the Langeberg mountains, where participants can explore breathtaking trails like Kristalkloof and Rooiwaterspruit. The highlight of these longer distances is reaching Sleeping Beauty’s summit, offering panoramic views that reward every step taken up its rugged terrain.
All runners finish their journey back at Windhoek Guest Farm, greeted with a refreshing ice-cold beer to cap off the day's efforts in style. Join us for an event that not only celebrates trail running but also aims to rejuvenate long-forgotten hiking trails of Southern Cape’s Langeberg mountains.
