Reindeer Roundup

Join Mid Essex Casuals for their unique Reindeer Roundup on December 13, 2026, at Museum of Power Hatfield Road in Langford. This festive scavenger hunt features two off-road routes: a longer 5.5-mile loop and a shorter 3.5-mile trek through the countryside around the museum grounds. Participants will search for Santa's hidden reindeer along the course while navigating potential hazards such as mud, roots, and brambles.
Registration fees of £8 for England Athletics-affiliated club members and £10 otherwise support the Museum of Power (a registered charity). The event runs from 10am to 11:30am with no mass start or marked route; instead, runners receive written instructions at their chosen starting time. Finishers will be rewarded with a £4 voucher for use in the museum's café.
Participants must adhere to UK Athletics rules and are reminded that dogs are not permitted on site. The minimum age requirement is 17 years old. A final email containing essential safety information will be sent out days before the event, ensuring all runners stay informed and prepared for a fun-filled adventure through scenic Essex countryside.
