Boxing Day marks the return of the historic Point Leo SLSC Swim Classic at picturesque Point Leo Beach. This annual aquatic spectacle, hosted by the dedicated volunteers of the Point Leo Surf Life Saving Club, features an invigorating 1200-meter ocean swim through the cool waters off Victoria's coast. For those seeking a greater challenge, there is also a grueling 2.5-kilometer Challenge event and a fun-filled 400-meter Nipper/Novice race for younger swimmers. To complement these aquatic adventures, participants can enjoy a scenic 4-kilometer beach run along the stunning shoreline. The day promises to be filled with camaraderie, breathtaking views of Point Leo's coastline, and the spirit of community that defines this beloved tradition.
