About the Event

North Curl Curl Beach welcomes athletes from around the world to its iconic venue on December 5, 2026. The day features two distinct events that cater to both seasoned swimmers and newcomers seeking an exhilarating challenge: the True Protein Ocean Swim and the legendary '3 Points Challenge'.
The True Protein Ocean Swim begins at North Curl Curl Surf Club with a picturesque 2km swim in front of the club, offering stunning views of Sydney's northern coastline. This event is perfect for those who want to experience the open water against the backdrop of Australia’s beautiful beaches.
For an added thrill, participants can enter both events by paying just $10 more than the individual entry fee. The '3 Points Challenge' starts with a 300m swim at North Curl Curl Surf Club and transitions into a challenging run along the beach to Freshwater Beach. After crossing the sand dunes and boardwalks of Freshie, athletes complete another quick 200m swim before returning via a final 2.5km run back to North Curl Curl for their sprint finish.
With early morning registration starting at 6:45 am and race briefings scheduled from 8:15 am onwards, there's plenty of time to soak up the atmosphere on Sydney’s northern beaches. Participants can enjoy the vibrant energy of the event while taking in the breathtaking scenery that makes North Curl Curl Beach a true gem.
The day promises not only an athletic challenge but also a chance to experience the unique beauty and charm of one of Australia’s most beloved coastal areas.
