Night Owl 5 km Fun Run

Join us under the twilight sky at Tru Grit Buffalo Ranch/Wildflower Ranch for an unforgettable evening experience with the Night Owl 5K Fun Run on October 30, 2026. This unique event supports wildlife rehabilitation and invites runners of all paces to enjoy a scenic course through open prairies as daylight fades into night. Whether you're racing to beat your personal best or simply looking for an enjoyable evening out with friends, the Night Owl 5K offers something special for everyone.
Participants are encouraged to dress up in colorful, reflective, and glow-in-the-dark attire to light up the course and enhance the magical atmosphere of this twilight event. As you run through winding trails, take a moment to meet live owl ambassadors from Alberta Society for Injured Birds of Prey, adding an educational element to your evening adventure. This race is more than just about movement; it's about community spirit, fun, and contributing to wildlife conservation efforts.
