The Wild Rose Women's Indoor Triathlon Experience offers an inclusive environment for triathletes of all levels, from beginners taking their first steps into the sport to seasoned athletes looking for a fun challenge. Scheduled for October 31, 2026, this event is designed to be both supportive and engaging. Upon arrival at the facility by 30 minutes before your assigned heat start time (between 1pm - 2:45pm), you will proceed directly to the multipurpose room where body marking takes place. This ensures a seamless transition throughout each segment of the race, allowing you to focus on giving it your best effort. The event kicks off with a swim in the pool for 15 minutes. Participants are organized into lanes based on similar swimming speeds and safety considerations. Each lane accommodates four swimmers who start at either end of the pool upon the instructor's signal. You can track your own laps or simply enjoy the experience, pausing to rest as needed at the ends of the lanes. Following a brief transition period (10 minutes), you move on to the stationary bike workout led by an experienced spin instructor for another 15 minutes. Volunteers are there to help adjust the bikes and offer guidance throughout this segment, ensuring that everyone can find their optimal performance level. The final leg is a run or walk along the track for 15 minutes. Run marshals will guide you through designated lanes where you'll have ample opportunity to push yourself while navigating around other participants efficiently. Post-race festivities include a complimentary smoothie from Booster Juice and an official finisher's bracelet, celebrating your achievement with fellow athletes in the multipurpose room. A group photo captures this memorable day before everyone heads home or continues their celebration. Spectators are welcome at certain points of the event, particularly during the swim portion where they can cheer on participants throughout the entire segment. For bike and run transitions, space limitations may restrict spectator access but friends and family remain an integral part of your support system from start to finish. The recommended gear includes a swimsuit or trisuit for the pool entry, goggles, a provided Wild Rose Swim Cap, mandatory towel, optional extra clothes, running shoes if you plan on transitioning directly into them after cycling. For those who wish to bring additional items like glasses or snacks, volunteers will happily hold these during your swim. Registration fees are non-refundable but can be rolled over to the next year's event for a $30 fee before October 10th (three weeks prior) or transferred to another participant at any time up until the day of the race for just $15. After this deadline, only transfers remain an option. Join us on Halloween weekend as we celebrate women in triathlon and create lasting memories within our community!
