Mount Feitian Danxia 13th Mountain Trail Race 2026 (“山水画卷·郴野相见”2026飞天山「百里丹霞」第十三届山地越野赛)

On November 28, 2026, the "Shan Shui Hua Juan·Chenzhou Encounter" 2026 Feitian Mountain Danxia Trail Race will take place at Feitian Mountain National Geopark in Chenzhou, Hunan Province. The race starts and finishes at the East Gate Square of Feitian Mountain Scenic Area with three distance options: Fly Heaven Start (15KM), Red Path Challenge (30KM), and Breakthrough Peak (50KM). With a total capacity of 2400 runners, participants can secure their spots early to enjoy discounted rates until November 3, 2026.
The Breakthrough Peak (50KM) category is limited to 600 athletes, with separate divisions for men and women. Starting at 6:00 AM on race day, this challenging course covers a distance of 50 kilometers with an elevation gain of over 2000 meters, reaching its highest point at 293 meters above sea level.
The Red Path Challenge (30KM) sees 800 runners taking off from the starting line at 8:30 AM. This course features a total ascent of around 1100 meters and spans 28 kilometers through stunning red cliffs and serene waters, finishing by 3:30 PM.
The Fly Heaven Start (15KM) category is designed for those looking to experience the beauty without pushing their limits too far. With 1000 participants setting off at the same time as the Red Path Challenge group, this route offers a more manageable distance of 15 kilometers and an elevation gain of approximately 300 meters.
The race course winds through the heart of Feitian Mountain's Danxia landscape, featuring deep canyons carved by water against red cliffs. As autumn sets in, runners will be treated to breathtaking views as they navigate winding trails that hug steep ridges and cross tranquil streams. This unique terrain ensures a memorable experience for all competitors.
