Running November 28-29 at the Guposhan Tourist Resort, Hezhou, Guangxi, this trail race caps at 3,000 runners across "Heavenly Maiden Soaring" 100km, "Lake and Peak Chase" 50km, "Bamboo Trail Tracker" 25km, "Hidden Forest Path" 15km, and "Valley Wander" 5km. Registration is first-come, first-served.
The 100km (~100km, ~5,810m gain, ITRA ~4 points) starts Nov 28 8:00 with a 32-hour cutoff; the 50km (~52km, ~3,110m gain, ITRA ~3 points) starts 8:00 with a 15-hour cutoff; the 25km (~24km, ~1,510m gain, ITRA ~1 point) starts Nov 29 8:00 with an 8-hour cutoff; the 15km (~16km, ~1,260m gain) starts 8:00 with a 7-hour cutoff; the 5km (~6km, ~170m gain) starts 8:30 with a 2-hour cutoff.
An invitation from China's hot-spring city and a renowned longevity region -- Guposhan's cloud sea has rolled through four editions of this race, deep in the Nanling range where bamboo and stream have intertwined for a thousand years. This is South China's largest natural oxygen bar, with waterfalls dropping past runners' shoulders and ancient tree roots brushing their foreheads.
