Mary Valley Ultra

Run Queensland presents the Mary Valley Ultra, an exhilarating race that takes place on June 11, 2027. The event offers participants five challenging distances: 10 kilometers, half marathon (21.1 kilometers), a grueling 50-kilometer trek, and two ultra-distance options of 112 kilometers and the ultimate test—the century mark at 160 kilometers.
The race begins in Imbil, nestled within Queensland's Sunshine Coast hinterland. Runners are greeted by lush landscapes and scenic trails through Imbil State Forest, where babbling creeks and verdant flora create a picturesque backdrop for all runners to enjoy. The hilly terrain provides both challenges and breathtaking views as participants navigate the winding paths.
For those tackling the longer distances, the route extends into Conondale National Park, offering an even more rugged yet rewarding course. This section features an ascent up Mt Allan, providing panoramic vistas of the surrounding wilderness from its peak. After scaling this impressive elevation, runners will traverse back down and continue through varied terrain before returning to the Imbil Showgrounds for a triumphant finish.
The Mary Valley Ultra promises not only physical endurance but also a memorable experience with stunning scenery at every turn. Whether you're an experienced ultra-runner or looking to challenge yourself on shorter distances, this event offers something unique and awe-inspiring along each mile of its diverse course.
Runners can look forward to the energy and camaraderie that comes from participating in such a distinctive race as they push their limits amidst nature's beauty.
