Gold Coast Twilight Relay

About the Event

The Gold Coast Twilight Relay is set to light up Broadwater Parklands with an electrifying 5km race on December 4, 2026. Teams of four compete over two fast and flat loops, fostering camaraderie and friendly competition among runners as they navigate the picturesque setting under twilight skies. This year's event has moved slightly north within the park but retains its familiar route from previous years.
Four distinct divisions cater to a variety of teams: Open Female, Open Male, Open Mixed (2 Females/2 Males), Junior Mixed, and Schools Mixed, each running different distances to accommodate various age groups and skill levels. While mixed teams are welcome across all categories, only designated divisions qualify for podium awards.
The event promises an array of entertainment with live music, giveaways, delicious food options, and cold beverages on offer at the finish line area. Participants will enjoy a vibrant atmosphere that embodies the spirit of the running community along the stunning Gold Coast waterways.
Join us in Broadwater Parklands to experience this thrilling relay race under the glow of the setting sun!
