Little Backyard Adventure
About the event
Embark on an unforgettable journey through Olympia's LBA neighborhood forest park at the Little Backyard Adventure, part of the vibrant Olympia Trailfest weekend. This trail running event challenges participants to loop through lush ferns and moss-covered paths, offering a scenic escape amidst city life. Each approximately 4-mile loop features steep elevation gains and technical terrain that twists and turns on single-track trails, pushing runners both physically and mentally. The race celebrates endurance with no strict time limits—run as many loops as you can handle—and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the LBA woods under a canopy of trees. After your final lap, join fellow racers at the LEGENDS OF LBA ceremony to celebrate those who complete the most loops. Participants will also receive complimentary entry into the Trail Running Film Festival on March 14 at Olympia's Capitol Theater.
