Limfjordsløbet 2027

Welcome to the 2027 Limfjordsløbet, one of Nordjylland's oldest running events with over five decades of tradition. This year’s edition takes place during winter months as an invigorating warm-up for spring races.
The race starts and finishes at Skovvejs Auto, a longtime partner that transforms its facilities into a festive hub complete with food trucks, coffee stations, and cozy spaces for families to enjoy together. The organizers have ensured ample restroom facilities and baggage storage inside the workshop area.
Participants can choose from four distances: 2.5 km (a family-friendly route), 5 km (run/walk), 10.6 km (run/walk), or a half marathon (full run). New this year, both longer routes offer stunning views of Limfjord and the surrounding green landscapes, with one taking runners over bridges into Vestre Fjordpark before returning along the water's edge.
The shorter route keeps participants on the Nørresundby side, passing through charming streets and picturesque neighborhoods. Both courses are clearly marked and merge together towards the end for a lively finish line celebration.
Entry fees start at DKK 100 for children and DKK 175 for adults, with prices increasing after December 31st. All participants receive custom-designed medals to commemorate their achievement.
Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Limfjord, the green areas, and fresh air while experiencing a sense of community and festivity among fellow runners. PureGym will lead pre-race warm-ups as usual, ensuring everyone is ready for an energetic start. Don't forget that race day photography captures every moment to share with friends and family.
