Dana Cup Run 2027

On March 28, 2027, runners of all ages and abilities will converge on Hjørring for the Dana Cup Run. This scenic spring race offers four distinct routes through Park Vendia's central area: a short but swift 5 km course, an extended 10 km option, and the challenging half marathon that includes prologue and four laps around the park. New this year is an 8 km walking route for those who prefer to enjoy the scenery at their own pace.
For young participants under eight years old, there's a special free kids' race covering the prologue distance with all children receiving a medal upon completion. All distances offer reduced entry fees of just 99 DKK for runners under twelve and include a t-shirt and medal as part of the registration package.
The event kicks off at 11:00 AM sharp from Børge Christensens Vej 5, with showers and changing facilities available nearby in FiberHallen. Participants will enjoy chip timing, race photos, aid stations along the route, and a festive atmosphere post-race complete with refreshments for all finishers.
Prizes are awarded to top three male and female runners in each distance category, adding an extra layer of excitement for competitive athletes. The Dana Cup Run promises not just a challenging course but also a welcoming community spirit that makes it a standout event on the Danish running calendar.
