DGI Nordjysk Trail Cup 2026/2027 - Rebild Bakker Trail

Experience the breathtaking beauty of Rebild Bakker and Rold Skov on March 7, 2027, with the Den Nordjyske Trail Cup - Trail i Rebild. This challenging trail race features an elevation gain of approximately 900 meters over its roughly 21-kilometer course, winding through some of Denmark's most picturesque natural landscapes.
Runners will face steep single tracks, muddy sections, and even a few steps along the MTB trails as they navigate their way up to the summit of Rebild Bakker. The stunning views from the top offer runners an inspiring reward for their efforts before descending back down into Rold Skov's serene forests. With two aid stations providing essential support throughout the route, participants can focus on enjoying the scenery and testing their limits against this varied terrain.
Starting at Rebild Porten with ample parking available nearby, the event offers a convenient base from which to explore both pre- and post-race activities in the area. However, note that there are no changing or baggage storage facilities provided along the route. Participants should come prepared for variable weather conditions typical of early springtime in Denmark.
This race is part of the larger DGI Trail Cup series, emphasizing fair play and adherence to rules including a strict 3-hour cutoff time across all distances. Start numbers can be transferred freely among participants before the event but must adhere strictly to official procedures set by organizers to ensure fairness for all competitors involved.
