About the Event

On December 6, 2026, Saint-Péray invites runners to its festive winter races through the heart of town. The main race is a timed 9-kilometer run that circles around a 1.5-kilometer loop in the center of Saint-Péray six times, starting at 6:30 PM. For those seeking a shorter distance, there's also a non-competitive 4.5-kilometer course along the same route beginning at 5:45 PM.
The race takes place against a backdrop of holiday cheer as the town square and central streets are adorned with twinkling Christmas lights. Runners will enjoy the festive atmosphere enhanced by the sound of carolers and the sight of decorated houses, making for an enchanting evening run. At the finish line, warm vin chaud (mulled wine) and hot chocolate await to help runners unwind after their effort.
The event also features races for young participants with distances of 500 meters and 1.5 kilometers, providing a fun introduction to running in a festive setting.
