X-Kern Trail Gorges de la Daronne

On December 6, 2026, runners will have the opportunity to participate in the eleventh edition of a scenic trail race series featuring diverse courses through breathtaking natural landscapes. The event offers several distance options for solo participants and an additional duo challenge.
The longest course is a challenging 41 kilometers with a cumulative elevation gain of 1250 meters, starting at 8:00 AM. For those seeking a slightly shorter but still demanding route, there's a 31-kilometer option that includes 950 meters of ascent and begins half an hour later.
A more manageable yet equally scenic course is the 22 kilometers with 700 meters of elevation gain, set to start at 9:00 AM. For those looking for a shorter run but still want to experience the stunning scenery, there's also a 7-kilometer option that gains just 200 meters in elevation and starts later at 10:30 AM.
In addition to these solo courses, this year’s event introduces an exclusive duo challenge. The 12.5 kilometer course with 440 meters of ascent offers participants the chance to tackle rugged terrain together as a team from start to finish. This route begins promptly at 9:30 AM and is designed for those who enjoy trail running in pairs, emphasizing teamwork and shared adventure.
