Introducing the inaugural edition of Les Boucles d’Anast, set to take place on September 19 and 20, 2026, at the multi-sport terrain in Campel within the Val d'Anast. Organized by Les Foulées Mauritaniennes, this unique event invites runners to push their limits through a challenging yet convivial atmosphere. The core of the race is a single loop measuring 7.8 kilometers with an elevation gain of 85 meters, designed to be completed in under one hour. Competitors can choose between solo runs or team efforts involving two or four participants. The event offers flexibility: runners may complete as many loops as they wish within this time constraint. Whether you're looking for a quick sprint through the loop once or an endurance challenge spanning multiple rounds, there's something to suit every level of runner. For those who prefer not to commit fully to the multi-loop format, "La Découverte" provides a standalone 7.8-kilometer course that showcases the route’s scenic beauty and challenging terrain in one go. Meanwhile, budding young athletes can test their skills on La Petite Boucle, an ideal circuit for children. The event will also feature a bivouac area near the start/finish line where participants can rest or camp out during breaks between loops. Additionally, organizers have prepared informative materials well ahead of race day to address any questions runners might have about logistics and regulations. On both days, there are multiple events scheduled: Saturday kicks off with bib collection at 9 AM, followed by the launch of La Découverte at 10 AM and Boucles d’Anast for soloists, duos, and quatuors starting at noon. The final day includes a last round beginning at 10 AM on Sunday morning, culminating in an awards ceremony at noon. A key highlight is the support of local charity Mille et un sourires, which assists children with illnesses or disabilities along with their families. For every participant who joins any race during Les Boucles d’Anast, €1 will be donated to this worthy cause. Join us for a weekend filled with running challenges and community spirit at Campel’s multi-sport terrain. This event promises an unforgettable experience combining athletic challenge with social camaraderie in the beautiful Val d'Anast.
