Join the third edition of Chatellier Steps, organized by the Arthur Regnault Catholic School's OGEC. This year’s event spans three distinct phases: a pedestrian walk, an area reserved for children, and adult racing. Start your day with a 6-kilometer or 13-kilometer loop walk between 13:30 and 15:00. Participants can choose their distance at the start line; registration is available on-site for €5, of which €1 goes to an association. Children's races will take place from 16:30 onwards: - A 500-meter race for children born in 2021, 2022, and 2023 (starting at Rue de la Chapelle) - A 1000-meter run reserved for those born between 2018 and 2020 (one lap each) - A 2000-meter race open to children born in 2014, 2015, 2016, or 2017 (two laps) All participants will receive a prize. Parents are welcome to accompany their children during the races. For adults: - The 6-kilometer course departs at 18:30 and is open to individuals aged 13 and over. - For those seeking a greater challenge, the 13-kilometer route starts at 19:45 for participants of similar age. The race will traverse the streets and trails of Plechatel and Bain de Bretagne. Participants are required to bring a headlamp for both races! Strongly recommend wearing trail running shoes. No cups during refueling stops... The top three overall finishers in each category (men, women) receive a prize. Prize-giving commences 20 minutes after the first arrival. For adult participants, compulsory PPS or FFA license is required. Registration on Klikego costs €13 for the 13-kilometer race and €8 for the 6-kilometer event (including processing fees). One euro from each registration goes to an association. Race details are open to both licensed and non-licensed participants, though only those with a license can compete in the adult races. Dossards will be available for collection starting at 14:00 inside the school grounds until 30 minutes before race start times. The departure point is Rue de la Chapelle, near the canteen. Online registration closes on November 19th at 20:00; all commitments are personal and final. Refreshments will be available within the school premises. See you there in large numbers!
