Layer Twixmas Trail 2026

Layer Twixmas Trail, a 4.5-mile self-navigation trail run through the charming countryside around Layer-de-la-Haye, invites runners to explore festive terrain on December 27, 2026. Participants can start anytime between 9:00 am and 10:00 am from Event HQ at Queen Elizabeth Hall in CO2 0EH. The course features a mix of scenic trails with stunning views; runners will navigate using only written directions provided on the day. Festive fancy dress is optional but comes with a £10 prize for the best-dressed competitor.
Entry fees cover more than just the run, including a twix and free tea or coffee at the finish line along with cake and nibbles. The event welcomes dogs on leads; however, they must remain outside Queen Elizabeth Hall due to limited space inside. Ensure your furry friends are kept leashed throughout and remember to use dog bins provided en route.
Parking is tight near the venue, so be mindful of other vehicles when securing your car. Craig’s Events promises a memorable day out in Layer-de-la-Haye's picturesque setting.
This event offers an engaging blend of festive spirit and outdoor adventure, perfect for runners looking to explore beautiful trails while enjoying some holiday cheer.
