Val’Lyonnaise is an annual trail running event that offers runners of all levels the chance to explore stunning natural landscapes around the Vallons du Lyonnais community. Spanning three distances—11km, 20km, and 28km—the race takes participants through scenic trails with varying elevations, showcasing the area's rich biodiversity and breathtaking views. The shorter 11km route features a climb of 210 meters, making it an ideal choice for beginners or those looking to enjoy a leisurely run. The intermediate option covers 20 kilometers with an elevation gain of 550 meters, offering more challenging terrain while still being manageable for runners in good shape. For the seasoned trail runner, there is also a longer and more demanding route at 28km with nearly 920 meters of ascent. Each course winds through picturesque paths that meander across diverse landscapes, from rolling hills to dense forests, providing an immersive experience into nature’s beauty. Participants can expect well-marked trails and friendly volunteers along the way who are eager to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable day out in the countryside.
