The Foulées Ternaysardes, organized by the club TERNAY ATHLETISME (association under French law 1901), is set to take place on Sunday, November 15, 2026. The event will feature two main races – "Impériales" and "Royales," both traversing a mix of road and forest terrain in Ternay.
The Foulées Impériales is the longer course at 21 kilometers with an elevation gain of 600 meters, offering runners scenic routes through varied landscapes. The race starts promptly at 9:00 AM from the Devès sports complex's track field. For those looking for a shorter but equally challenging experience, the Foulées Royales is a 9-kilometer course with an elevation gain of 240 meters and departs thirty minutes later.
In addition to these two races, children aged between five and ten years old can participate in "Foul Kids," featuring short distances ranging from 400m to 1000m depending on their age. The kids' race will start at 10:30 AM the same day.
Race participants should expect well-marked routes with blue or yellow flags guiding them along designated paths, and volunteers will be present throughout each course to assist runners as needed. Water stations providing solid food items such as fruits and snacks alongside beverages will be strategically placed along both race courses for hydration and energy replenishment needs.
The registration process is exclusively online via the DIRECT CHRONO platform with no on-site sign-ups except for children’s races, which can only be registered at the event venue. The total number of participants across both events is capped at 550 runners to ensure a high-quality experience for all competitors.
This year marks an exciting addition to the Foulées Ternaysardes: teams using joelettes will participate in a special category, starting shortly before the shorter race begins.
The event’s start and finish line are located at the Devès sports complex where participants can collect their bib numbers on Saturday from 4 PM until 7 PM or alternatively on Sunday morning by 7:30 AM. It is essential to arrive early as dossiers must be picked up no less than half an hour before each race's scheduled start time.
Competitors are reminded of the importance of adhering strictly to all rules and regulations, including providing valid medical certificates and sports licenses where applicable, in compliance with FFA guidelines. All participants should wear their bibs visibly throughout the event for identification purposes during the race.
