Kilojoule Run (Roskilde) 2027

On September 5, 2027, the Kilojoule '27 race invites runners of all levels to join a festive and fun run along Roskilde Øst's picturesque shoreline. Participants can choose from distances ranging from one mile to half marathon, with options for both casual joggers and competitive athletes. The event features live music at the start line and throughout the course, enhancing the lively atmosphere. Registration fees are kept low—50 DKK for 5 km or 10 km runs, and 25 DKK for a one-mile race—to encourage broader participation. Runners take their own timing after crossing the finish line due to the absence of chips. Post-race amenities include water stations, fruit, juice, coffee, tea, and more, ensuring everyone stays hydrated and energized throughout the event.
The scenic route offers breathtaking views of Roskilde Sound, making this a memorable experience for both locals and visitors alike. With entertainment before, during, and after the race, Kilojoule '27 promises an engaging day out with friends or family in one of Denmark's most charming settings.
