Kalvebod triathlon og duathlon 2027 - Svøm/Cykel/Løb

The Kalvebod Triathlon & Duathlon returns on August 7, 2027, hosted by the Hvidovre Triathlon Club in collaboration with Triatlon Danmark. Set against the backdrop of picturesque Hvidovre Harbour and the charming Kalvoboderne area, this event offers a blend of water sports, cycling, and running through scenic routes along the coastline.
Participants can choose from four competitions: Mini Duathlon, Family Relay, and Mini Triathlon. The Mini Duathlon features a 3 km run, followed by a 12 km cycle ride to Avedøre Holme via marked paths, concluding with another 3 km run back to Hvidovre Harbour. Cyclists will enjoy wide and safe routes through the scenic Kystagerparken.
For those looking for an introduction to triathlon in a controlled environment, the Mini Triathlon includes a 400 m swim within the calm waters of Hvidovre Harbour, followed by a 12 km bike ride on Avedøre Holme’s secure paths and finishing with a scenic 3 km run along the harbourfront. Both events offer runners an exhilarating climb up to the local "hill," adding an extra challenge.
The Family Relay is designed for groups of two or three individuals, each taking turns in swimming, cycling, and running segments using one timing chip passed between disciplines at transition zones. This event fosters teamwork and camaraderie among friends, colleagues, or family members who wish to experience the thrill together.
With its combination of water activities, scenic routes, and friendly atmosphere, Kalvebod Triathlon & Duathlon promises an unforgettable day for all participants and spectators alike.
The epicenter of this vibrant event is Hvidovre Harbour, a charming location adjacent to one of Copenhagen's most popular family-friendly beaches. The area offers not only stunning views but also a warm community vibe that enhances the overall experience for everyone involved.
