COPENHAGEN BEACH SWIM 2027

Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of Amager Strandpark for the Copenhagen Beach Swim 2027, an ultimate beach festival combining sport and seaside charm. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned swimmer, this day is packed with action, music, and community spirit.
Choose from four distances to suit your level: 1.25 km, 2.5 km, 3.8 km, and 5 km. All races start and finish at the iconic Helgoland beach area, surrounded by sand and sea. Participants have a generous two hours and thirty minutes to complete their chosen distance.
Upon arrival on August 7th, enjoy registration from noon until one PM, followed by race briefings as you prepare for the swim. The main event kicks off with simultaneous starts at four PM. After the races conclude around six PM, celebrate your achievement in a lively medal ceremony and chill out session at the beach bar.
The day continues into an evening beach party (additional ticket required), where everyone can unwind and enjoy more music and fun under the summer sky.
Your entry fee includes a swim cap, snacks, water, and good vibes all around. Medals are awarded to top three finishers in each distance for both genders, plus every participant receives a commemorative medal.
Remember to bring your swimsuit or wetsuit (optional if weather is warm), goggles, towel, and extra clothing for before and after the event. Water temperatures hover between 18-20°C, ensuring an invigorating swim experience. Safety boats and lifeguards are on standby throughout the race day.
For those under sixteen years old, parental consent through Sportstiming during registration is required without needing a separate waiver form. Enjoy your day at Amager Strandpark with family or friends!
