Hermanus Trail Run

Experience the ultimate two-day trail running adventure in Hermanus, a coastal gem known for its stunning natural beauty. This unique weekend event combines challenging mountain trails with refreshing beach runs along the pristine shoreline.
On day one, runners will venture into Fernkloof Nature Reserve, where rugged terrain and panoramic ocean views await. The 35km route offers an exhilarating mix of flowing singletrack and technical climbs through fynbos-covered landscapes. For those seeking a more moderate challenge, the 25km or 15km options provide equally scenic yet achievable distances.
The second day takes runners to Walker Bay Beach for a fast-paced, fun-filled coastal run along Hermanus' breathtaking shoreline. The smooth sand provides an entirely different experience from the previous day's mountain trails, with wide open beaches and fresh sea breezes enhancing every step of the 18km route.
Participants can choose single-day entries or opt for combo packages that cover both days, offering savings on entry fees while providing a balanced weekend adventure. Each distance comes with race numbers, conservation fees, medical support, marked routes, and finisher medals. Essential kit includes water, food, fully charged cellphones, windbreakers, and waterproof jackets if rain is expected.
