Grootvadersbosch Trail Run

Embark on an unforgettable adventure through Grootvadersbosch Reserve for the Quantum Adventures Trail Run, taking place on February 13, 2027. Choose between two scenic routes: the challenging 30km course, which ventures into pristine mountain trails of Boosmansbos with breathtaking views and a significant altitude gain of 1700 meters, starting at 5:30 AM; or the more accessible 14km route that combines indigenous forest paths with lower elevation trails offering splendid vistas over Saagkuilskloof valley. This shorter course features an 820-meter ascent and begins at 7:30 AM.
Participants will start and finish inside Grootvadersbosch Reserve, near the eco-friendly cabins, where they'll enjoy a hearty braai with vegetarian options upon completing their run. The entry fee includes not only the race but also a branded cap or visor, event permits from Cape Nature Conservation, and post-race refreshments like coffee and tea (bring your own mug). Prize-giving will feature spot prizes such as Boplaas wine and Scarpa & Black Diamond products, plus an exclusive whisky tasting at the finish line.
Registration closes on February 7th or when entries are full. For accommodation options within Grootvadersbosch Reserve, explore local listings online through Cape Nature Conservation Reservations or Quantum Adventures' social media platforms for recommendations and updates.
