Momentum Medical Scheme Attakwas Half presented by Biogen 2027

Immerse yourself in the rugged beauty of South Africa's Western Cape on January 16, 2027, with the Momentum Medical Scheme Attakwas Extreme MTB Challenge. This epic trail offers two routes for all levels: the grueling full course at 121km and a more manageable half marathon at 47km. Both courses are known for their dramatic elevation gains – 2900m in the extreme version, compared to 1100m in the shorter option. Riders will navigate through breathtaking landscapes filled with dense forests, rocky outcrops, and sweeping vistas of the surrounding mountains. The terrain is challenging but rewarding, testing your limits while offering stunning views at every turn. For those who prefer a bit less intensity, the half marathon provides an equally scenic yet more moderate experience. E-bikes are welcome on both routes, ensuring that everyone has the chance to enjoy this unforgettable adventure in nature.
