The 2026 Emei Mountain Trail Challenge and "Emitour" Cup Mount Emei Climb Race will take place on November 21-22, 2026, within the scenic beauty of Mount Emei in Leshan City, Sichuan Province. This event features a variety of categories designed for different levels of runners and families alike.
The Parents' Breakfast Run is a short but steep course at 5.7 kilometers with an elevation gain of 342 meters and a descent of 317 meters. Participants will start their journey early in the morning on November 21, beginning from the "Famous Mountain" archway before finishing back there two hours later.
For those looking to spend more time exploring Mount Emei with family members, the Family Fun Run offers an engaging route covering a distance of 6.5 kilometers with similar elevation changes as the Parents' Breakfast Run. This run will commence at 10:00 AM on November 21 and conclude by noon.
The South Mountain Secret Realm Speed Climb is designed for experienced trail runners, featuring a challenging course of 19.6 kilometers over two days (November 21-22). With an elevation gain exceeding 2,000 meters, this race starts early on the second day from "Emitour South" and finishes atop Wannufeng Peak.
The Cloud Top Golden Summit Speed Climb is one of the most demanding courses at 28.2 kilometers with a staggering total ascent of 3,390 meters over nine hours. This race begins before dawn on November 22 from the "Famous Mountain" archway and concludes atop Jinding Peak.
