2026 Chinese Athletics Association 10km Elite Final (Mianyang) (2026中国田径协会10公里精英赛总决赛（眉山）)

The 2026 China Athletics Association 10K Elite Finals, set to take place on December 20th at the Urban New Center Sports Park in Meishan City, Sichuan Province, promises an exhilarating day for both elite athletes and recreational runners. Situated at an elevation of 417 meters, this race offers a challenging yet scenic course that winds through the heart of Meishan's modern cityscape.
The event features three categories: the 10K Elite Race with a field limit of 5,000 participants, a fun run covering 6 kilometers for another 5,000 runners, and a family-friendly option also spanning 6 kilometers but accommodating up to 1,500 families. Registration is open from October 30th at 2 PM until November 18th at 10 PM via pre-registration with payment followed by a lottery system. The results of the draw will be announced on November 24th at 2 PM.
Organized by the China Athletics Association and registered with World Athletics, this series is the only national-level running event in China that includes multiple regional stations throughout the year. Participants' performances are recorded in an official database managed by the Chinese Athletic Association, allowing runners to qualify for mass grade certificates and elite athletes a chance at setting records nationally, regionally, or even globally.
The 2026 season has seen races across diverse terrains—from bustling cities to mountainous trails—each station contributing to the build-up towards this grand finale in Meishan. The ultimate showdown will not only determine rankings among top runners but also serve as a platform for all participants to showcase their training achievements and passion for running.
This event is more than just a race; it's an essential part of China’s growing running culture, offering both competitive opportunities and inclusive fun for everyone involved.
The 10K Elite Finals in Meishan on December 20th will be the culmination of these efforts, celebrating excellence while fostering community among runners from all walks of life.
