Early Brigg Sprint Triathlon

The swim leg kicks off at Ancholme Leisure Centre in Brigg (DN20 9JR), where competitors will dive into the pool for a standard 400-meter lap, providing clear water conditions and spectator-friendly viewing. From there, it’s just a short distance to the secure transition area before cyclists hit the road.
The bike course features an excellent surface with its fast and flat terrain, making it perfect for testing new equipment or positioning without the worry of traffic interference. Spectators line the route, adding energy and encouragement throughout this exhilarating leg.
Transitioning smoothly into the run segment, athletes will encounter a 5-kilometer loop through quiet country roads around Brigg. To ensure safety and sustainability, race organizers mandate the use of race number belts during this event. Participants must wear one visible race number on their back while cycling and another at the front when running. Race number belts are available for purchase alongside entry fees.
