Dentdale Run 2027

On March 13, 2027, runners can choose between the traditional route of approximately 14.2 miles or a newer 10k course through Dentdale's picturesque lanes. The shorter race begins at 1:15 PM and winds through Dent village’s historic cobbled streets before venturing into scenic countryside dotted with rolling hills and lush pastures, featuring a unique footbridge crossing.
Both courses are known for their challenging terrain, making them excellent training grounds for those preparing for the London Marathon. The traditional course is marked every mile and at the half marathon point, while the 10k route has kilometer markers to guide runners through this scenic landscape.
Upon finishing, participants will be greeted with a warm welcome, including complimentary tea, coffee, sandwiches, and cakes provided by the organizers. Trophies and prizes are awarded for both distances in recognition of your hard work and dedication.
This event is more than just a race; it’s a fundraiser for Dent Village Primary School, aiming to improve educational opportunities for local children through direct financial support from every runner's effort. Join us for an unforgettable experience that combines athletic challenge with community spirit.
