Join us on December 2, 2026, for an exciting addition to the Autumn Series of orienteering events. This series features eleven unique races across various locations, each offering both long and short courses tailored to runners of all skill levels. The Grange-over-Sands event promises a challenging yet rewarding course through its picturesque urban landscape. Last held in March 2026, this race will revisit the promenade, duckponds, and Eden Mount, presenting a mix of fast-paced sections and hilly terrain that tests your navigation skills. As an urban orienteering experience, participants can expect to navigate town centre streets, residential roads, narrow alleyways (ginnels), steps, cobbled paths, and parkland. Running in pairs or groups is highly encouraged for newcomers looking to ease into the sport; simply enter using one person’s name and include additional participants’ names under 'Additional Names and Ages'. Extra maps can be requested if needed through the registration process.
