About the Event

The Dartmouth Triathlon returns on June 13, 2027, promising an exhilarating experience for all participants. The race kicks off with a refreshing swim in the pristine waters of Blackpool Sands, setting the stage for what’s to come. Athletes then transition onto their bikes and head out along Slapton's scenic roads, enjoying Devon's flattest terrain as they pedal through picturesque landscapes. A notable change this year is the addition of a second 'bike drop' transition on the opposite side of the A379, ensuring safety by eliminating any road crossings during the race. The event concludes with a breathtaking run along Blackpool Valley Road, where runners are treated to stunning views as they follow a gentle stream and gradually ascend towards their turnaround point before heading back down the same route. This year's Dartmouth Triathlon offers an unforgettable blend of natural beauty and challenging terrain.
