Experience The Dalby Devil Gravel Ride 2027, returning to the picturesque North York Moors National Park on Sunday, May 9th. Nestled within Dalby Forest's expansive 8,500 acres of trails and fire roads, this event offers an unforgettable blend of scenic beauty and challenging terrain. Riders can choose from five distinct routes catering to all levels: a new 30km ride for beginners, the family-friendly 50km route, the intermediate 80km loop, the more demanding 130km option with technical sections, or the ultimate challenge at 160km. The event's flexible start window from 7:30 to 8:30 AM allows you to set your own pace and ensures a comfortable experience for all participants. Dalby Forest provides an ideal backdrop for cyclists, featuring steady gravel paths and more technical sections that cater to every rider’s skill level. Feed stations along the route are fully stocked with snacks, fruit, sweets, chocolate, and drink refills to keep you energized throughout your ride. Upon crossing the finish line at Adderstone Field in Dalby Forest, all participants will be rewarded with a bespoke event medal and exclusive Wild Deer merchandise. Refreshments await you as well, ensuring that you can celebrate your achievement with fellow cyclists. Extend your adventure by camping overnight on Saturday, May 8th, at Adderstone Field for just £10 per vehicle or tent. Enjoy hard-standing areas for vans and grassed spaces for tents, along with a coffee van and food options available both evenings and mornings. For those interested in exploring the area further, parking is conveniently located near Forestry England machines post-event, providing easy access to all of Dalby Forest’s natural beauty.
