Chase The Pud 10K

Dive into the holiday season by joining the festive and fun-filled "Chase The Pud" race around York's historic Knavesmire. This unique 10k chip-timed run challenges participants to dress up as Santa Claus and chase after a speedy Christmas pudding, all while raising funds for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
Choose from three sizes of official Santa costumes: adult one size, youth (suitable for teens or small adults around age 12), and child. The event also offers a family-friendly option with a 3k untimed distance that is perfect for those who want to walk, jog, or run.
The race starts at Cherry Lane but registration begins early at the Race HQ from 9:00 am, where you can collect your number tag and leave bags securely. Participants should allow about 1km of walking time to reach the start line if they register first. Toilets are available at HQ for convenience.
Over the past two decades, the BHF York Fundraising Group has organized this event with enthusiasm and dedication. By participating in "Chase The Pud," you'll be supporting vital research into heart and circulatory diseases that affect approximately 26,000 people in York alone each year.
