Chelmsford Half Marathon

Chelmsford, Essex is set to host its premier running event of 2027 with entries now open for CM Half and CM10K. This major road-closed race promises an unforgettable experience for runners across both distances.
The course winds through picturesque Parkway, Essex Yeomanry Way, and Chelmer Village Way on fully closed roads before finishing at the impressive Anglia Ruskin University campus. Participants will enjoy a meticulously planned route marked by over 300 signs to ensure clear navigation throughout the race day. Each finisher receives an XXL metal medal as a testament to their achievement.
The event offers comprehensive support with chip timing, water stations along the course, and snacks at the finish line. For wheelchair athletes and those with buggies, applications are considered on a case-by-case basis following thorough risk assessments by the Race Director to ensure safe participation. Wheelchair entrants must confirm their ability to navigate challenging sections of the course independently or under supervision.
