Canada Day Edmonton 2027

On July 1, 2027, runners will gather at dawn for the Edmonton edition of a race that supports Wellspring Alberta. This year's event celebrates the merger of Wellspring Calgary and Wellspring Edmonton into one powerful provincial charity dedicated to enhancing the lives of those affected by cancer across Alberta. Participants will navigate through the vibrant streets of Edmonton as they raise funds for programs offering free support, resources, and services to anyone living with cancer and their families.
The race route winds past historic landmarks and scenic parks in downtown Edmonton, providing a memorable backdrop against which runners can reflect on their journey while contributing to an important cause. The atmosphere is one of solidarity and hope, as participants come together to honor the mission that began over three decades ago when Anne Armstrong Gibson founded Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation.
