Sylvan Lake Open Water Swim

SLOWS, short for Sylvan Lake Open Water Swim, invites swimmers of all levels to immerse themselves in the serene waters of Sylvan Lake. Organized by RnR Premier Events, this open water swim offers four distinct distances: 500 meters, 2 kilometers, 4 kilometers, and a challenging 6-kilometer course.
The event takes place in a picturesque setting where rolling hills meet sparkling blue waters, providing an ideal backdrop for swimmers to enjoy the natural beauty of Sylvan Lake. Participants can expect clear water visibility and gentle waves that enhance both safety and enjoyment during their swim.
Beyond the competition itself, SLOWS offers a weekend filled with activities for families and friends. The nearby town boasts numerous attractions, from charming cafes and restaurants to scenic walking trails and local shops, making it easy for visitors to extend their stay beyond just the race day festivities.
Whether you're looking to challenge yourself in longer distances or ease into open water swimming with shorter options, SLOWS provides a welcoming environment where swimmers can connect with nature and each other.
