Calder Lodge 10 mile and 6k fun run

On January 17, 2027, runners of all abilities are invited to participate in the Calder Lodge Race at Calder Vale Village Hall. The event features both a challenging 10-mile race and a more relaxed 6k fun run, starting at 11:00 am sharp. Nestled in Preston, Lancashire, this scenic course offers participants stunning views of the surrounding countryside as they navigate through picturesque villages.
All finishers will receive a commemorative t-shirt and medal to mark their achievement. Given that parts of the race take place on public roads, organizers strictly enforce a no-headphones policy except for bone conduction headphones approved by England Athletics. This ensures everyone's safety while promoting an inclusive atmosphere where all runners can enjoy the camaraderie.
After crossing the finish line, participants are treated to a traditional post-race feast featuring local favorites like pies and peas, providing a warm welcome in the crisp winter air of Calder Vale Village Hall. The event promises an unforgettable day for runners and spectators alike in the heart of Lancashire's countryside.
