Bratton Hilly 11K

Bratton Hilly, a 11K run through the picturesque landscapes of Bratton village, offers runners an unforgettable challenge with its multi-terrain course and stunning panoramic views. This event celebrates its 30th year on May 29, 2027, continuing a tradition established by Roger in 1996. Over the years, it has been stewarded by Dot for 18 years, Simon for 11 years, and Ken for 3 years.
The race starts at Bratton Jubilee Hall on Melbourne Street at 11:00 AM following a brief safety briefing led by marshals. Participants will encounter varied terrain including hills that provide breathtaking vistas of the surrounding countryside. The course is designed to test runners' endurance while rewarding them with scenic beauty and community support.
Race day features toilets, refreshments for purchase, two water stations, first aid cover, and full insurance coverage. Parking around Bratton village is available but please be considerate of local residents by avoiding parking near the shop and considering car sharing options. Spectators can park at The White Horse to watch runners tackle a steep hill.
Registration opens from 09:30 to 10:30 AM where you will collect your race number, which must be clearly visible throughout the event for identification purposes. Entry fees are £24 for affiliated runners and £26 for unattached participants. The race is limited to 200 spots; early booking is recommended.
All finishers receive a medal with additional prizes awarded to first place male and female competitors in various age categories, as well as team awards and local category winners. Merchandise such as buffs and bib clips are available for pre-order on Facebook and can be collected at the event.
