The race offers four distances: a family-friendly 3km route along the charming covered bridge, a scenic 5km loop through forest trails, an exhilarating 10km course that ventures south towards the mountains, and the challenging half marathon (21.1km) that showcases both trail and road running.
Participants will start their journey at the Centre Communautaire Wakefield in Quebec's quaint village of Wakefield, surrounded by live music from a chansonnier québécois and food trucks offering local delicacies. The race day is packed with activities including pre-race workshops on nutrition, injury prevention, mental performance training, and camping essentials.
The 10km trail run heads south along the scenic Trail #53 before turning back for a breathtaking view of the surrounding mountains. Meanwhile, the 10km road course takes runners eastward towards the iconic covered bridge, crossing it once before returning to the finish line. For those looking to challenge themselves further, the half marathon route combines both trail and road sections through varied terrain.
