Experience the breathtaking beauty of Terra Cotta Conservation Area at the Trails & Tails Classic on November 7, 2026. Hosted by Canadian Canicross Sports, this unique event invites you to explore scenic trails with your furry companion while supporting a worthy cause.
Perfect for beginners and seasoned runners alike, the Trails & Tails Classic offers three distinct options: a fun trek of 3km that requires only a leash and collar, an exhilarating 5k course through stunning single-track and double-track trails, and a challenging 10k route with varied terrain. All courses are clearly flagged to guide participants along their journey.
The event takes place at the picturesque Monora Park in Mono, Ontario, where you'll run alongside your dog amidst jaw-dropping scenery that showcases fall foliage at its finest. The new course layout promises an unforgettable adventure for both humans and canines.
For young adventurers aged 13-17, there's a dedicated Junior Category to ensure they have the chance to join in on this exciting event with their canine friends. Safety is paramount; reactive dogs are welcome, as organizers provide yellow pinnies and carefully managed starting waves to maintain a safe environment for all participants.
In addition to the thrilling race experience, every step you take contributes directly to supporting animals in need through donations collected from registration fees, raffle sales, and sticker purchases. You can also donate directly to the Ontario SPCA or make your contribution via Race Roster during registration. Your efforts will help give countless pets a second chance at happiness.
