BeckBusters 2km Fun Run 2027

The BeckBusters Fun Run, now in its tenth year, offers runners of all ages an engaging 2km course that starts and finishes at Bishop Monkton Primary School. The race begins on tranquil country roads before dipping onto a farm track for a scenic detour through the countryside. Participants have the option to take a refreshing splash through the Beck during their run.
Children under eight must be accompanied by an adult, though adults do not need to register or pay entry fees. All finishers receive a participation medal, and prizes are awarded to overall winners as well as age category champions.
Race day is also a celebration of community spirit with refreshments available at Bishop Monkton Primary School before, during, and after the event. Enjoy freshly cooked bacon sandwiches and homemade cakes while supporting local causes. Proceeds from this charity race benefit improvements and equipment for Bishop Monkton Primary School (Registered Charity 1050824).
