ATW Spring Colchester Friday Night Runs

On April 16, 2027, runners of all abilities will gather for an evening of competitive racing under the stars. The race kicks off at 5:30pm with the FREE Future Mile, inviting young athletes aged under 18 to compete on a flat tarmac course without traffic interference. This event aims to foster enthusiasm and passion among future generations.
At 6:00pm, the main events begin with various 5k races tailored for different pace groups. The evening culminates in elite-level competition starting at 8:30pm for women (sub-20 mins) followed by men's elite race at 9:00pm (sub-16 mins). These top-tier races feature extensive prize lists to honor the fastest runners.
The course, officially measured and licensed under UK Athletics standards, offers a smooth tarmac surface with no sharp turns. The flat terrain is ideal for setting personal bests as racers navigate an anticlockwise loop ending at the main straight finish line. This event promises thrilling competition and memorable achievements for all participants.
Join us to support aspiring young runners and cheer on elite athletes striving for excellence in this scenic, traffic-free environment.
